Find it yourself. Hints when you want them.

Explore Theft Auto is the free, spoiler-safe exploration companion for GTA 6, made for players who want to find things themselves. Tell it how far you are in the story and nothing past that point is ever shown. When you are stuck, it gives hints instead of pins, one step at a time: how many are left in an area you have reached, then a clue, then a rough circle on the map, and the exact spot only if you ask for it. Completionists get the full checklist too. It works in the browser on any phone or PC, needs no account, has no ads and no in-app purchases, and hosts no leaked images or videos. Built by one fan, in the open, with a public roadmap and a Discord where every channel is gated by story progress.

What it will do

  • Explore first, hints when you are stuck

Find things yourself. When you want help, open a hint one step at a time: how many are left in an area you have reached, then a clue, then a rough circle on the map, and the exact spot only if you ask. Nothing past your point in the story is shown, not even how much is hidden.

  • A collection tracker for the car people

Owned, want, seen: every vehicle you spot gets a state, with the parody brand decoded in plain text and nothing shown before you have reached it.

  • Free, no account, no ads, no spoilers

It will run in the browser on any phone or PC. Your progress lives on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync. Places come from official material, from openly licensed fan-made maps credited on the about page, and from players after release; we host no leaked images or videos.

Standard or Ultimate? What is actually confirmed

  • Confirmed Releases Thursday 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Confirmed Two editions: Standard (US $79.99) and Ultimate (US $99.99). Prices outside the US vary by store.
  • Confirmed Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as "an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story".
  • Confirmed Pre-ordering either edition includes the Vintage Vice City Pack.
  • Confirmed Digital pre-load starts 12 November 2026.
  • Confirmed The physical edition is a box containing a download code, not a disc.
  • Unconfirmed Exactly what Ultimate adds. Reports citing the store listing describe extra vehicles, a safehouse, additional businesses, and weapon and clothing cosmetics. Rockstar has not published a full list on its site, and reports disagree on whether any story missions are gated.
  • Unconfirmed A launch hour. Rockstar has not announced a single unlock time; your store page is the source.
  • Unconfirmed Download size. Figures in circulation are not official.
  • Unconfirmed A PC version. Not announced; press reports suggest 2027.

Explore Theft Auto will work the same with either edition. If Ultimate turns out to gate items, it will label them so you know what you are not missing.
