Spoiler kit

Muted words for the places where a word list does something. They cut down how much leak and ending talk reaches your feeds. They cannot catch everything, so the last section says where they stop.

Updated

The list

25 phrases

The game’s name paired with leak and ending words, so your feed keeps the rest of the game talk. X, Bluesky and Mastodon take one entry at a time: copy each phrase into its own row. Leak phrases come first; if you only add a few, add those.

  1. GTA 6 leak
  2. GTA6 leak
  3. GTA VI leak
  4. GTA 6 leaks
  5. GTA6 leaks
  6. GTA VI leaks
  7. GTA 6 leaked
  8. GTA6 leaked
  9. GTA VI leaked
  10. early copy
  11. GTA 6 spoiler
  12. GTA6 spoiler
  13. GTA VI spoiler
  14. GTA 6 spoilers
  15. GTA6 spoilers
  16. GTA VI spoilers
  17. GTA 6 ending
  18. GTA6 ending
  19. GTA VI ending
  20. GTA 6 endings
  21. GTA6 endings
  22. GTA VI endings
  23. GTA 6 final mission

  25. GTA VI final mission

X

  1. Open Settings and privacy, then Privacy and safety, then Mute and block, then Muted words.
  2. Tap the add button and paste one phrase from the list.
  3. Mute it from your home timeline and notifications, for anyone, until you turn it off.
  4. Repeat for each phrase.

Muted words hide posts in your timeline and notifications. They do not hide search results.

Bluesky

  1. Open Settings, then Moderation, then Muted words and tags.
  2. Paste one phrase, choose to mute it in text and tags, and keep it on until you turn it off.
  3. Repeat for each phrase.

Bluesky mutes apply in your feeds and notifications on every device where you are signed in.

Mastodon

  1. Open Preferences, then Filters, then Add new filter. Call it something like “GTA 6 spoilers”.
  2. Apply it to home, notifications, public timelines and conversations, and choose to hide posts with a warning or completely.
  3. Add one keyword row per phrase and tick “Whole word” for each.
  4. Save. Your server stores the filter, so it works in most apps too.

Some third-party apps ignore server filters. Check yours shows the filter warning.

Discord

If you are a member

  • Discord has no personal muted words. Mute or leave channels where people will post about the game, and mute whole servers for launch week if you need to.
  • Turn off link previews in User Settings, Chat, so a pasted link does not show a thumbnail.

If you run a server

  1. Open Server Settings, then Safety Setup (AutoMod), then create a Custom keywords rule.
  2. Paste the list below into the keywords box. It is already comma separated.
  3. Choose Block message, and write a short custom response such as “Spoiler words are blocked here; use the spoiler channel.”
  4. Exempt your opt-in spoiler channel so people still have a place to talk.

AutoMod matches whole words, so a bare “leak” also blocks messages like “memory leak”. That is the trade-off of this list; the exempt channel keeps a place to talk.

YouTube with BlockTube

BlockTube is a free browser extension for desktop Chrome and Firefox. It hides videos and comments whose text matches your filters, before you see the title or thumbnail.

  1. Install BlockTube from your browser’s extension store.
  2. Open its options page and use Import.
  3. Pick the file below.

Importing replaces your BlockTube settings. Already use BlockTube? Copy the list below into the Video title box instead.

What this cannot do

A word list is a filter, not a wall. Plan for these gaps:

  • Phone apps and the YouTube app on consoles and TVs ignore BlockTube. Turn off autoplay and keep the home feed closed.
  • Muted words on X do not hide search results. Do not search for the game until you finish.
  • Images, clips and thumbnails with no matching text get through.
  • Friends, group chats and DMs are not filtered. Ask people to use spoiler tags.
  • Reddit’s keyword filters are weak. Mute or leave game subreddits until you finish.
  • Nothing beats staying off feeds the week the game comes out.
